Katherine R. Bacher, 59, of Flanders, NJ passed Sunday, December 18, 2011. Kathy was born on January 20, 1952 in Rockville Center, Long Island to the late Martin and Rita Korrow. She has lived in Flanders for the past 11 years and was previously from East Meadow, NY. Kathy, also known as "Shorty Pants," was a generous woman that touched many lives. She was especially loved by children of all ages.
Kathy is survived by her husband of 41 years, Joe Bacher; her children Ricky Bacher and wife Nicole and Kevin Bacher and fiancé Becky Taylor; "Super Grandmother" to Blake and Ellie; and her sister Tricia.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, December 21 from 2-4pm and 7-9pm at the William J. Leber Funeral Home, 15 Furnace Road, Chester, NJ (908) 879-3090. A 10am funeral mass will be celebrated on Thursday, December 22 at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton in Flanders, NJ. Interment will be at Pleasant Hill Cemetery in Chester.
