Obituary of Megan McQuaide
Megan Anne McQuaide, 24, of Long Valley, NJ passed away on Tuesday, July 18, 2017. Megan was born on June 5, 1993 in Livingston, NJ. She has lived most of her life in Long Valley and previously lived in Woodland Park, NJ. Megan was a graduate of West Morris Central High School and a student at TCNJ.
Megan was an excellent student, who took her studies seriously and enjoyed reading. She was athletic and liked running, playing soccer and skiing. Megan liked to watch movies and t.v. shows on Netflix, her favorite on Netflix was Grey’s Anatomy. She also loved listening to all different types of music. She was previously a peer minister at St. Marks. Megan belonged to the Delta Sigma PI business fraternity at TCNJ. Most of all, Megan enjoyed getting together with her family and the time spent with her cousins.
Megan is survived by her mother, Laura Wells and her husband Richard, her father, Fred McQuaide, her sisters, Amy Nicole McQuaide and Rachel Christine Wells, her brother, Jonathan Richard Wells, her grandfather, Basil Kayal, her grandmother, Margaret McQuaide, and many loving aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. She was predeceased by her grandfather, John McQuaide and grandmother, Valerie Kayal.
A Celebration of Megan’s Life will include a visitation from 2pm to 4pm and 6pm to 9pm on Friday, July 21, 2017 at the William J. Leber Funeral Home, 15 Furnace Road (Corner of Rt. 206), Chester, NJ (908) 879-3090. A 9:30am funeral mass will be celebrated on Saturday, July 22, 2017 at St. Mark’s Church, 59 Spring Lane, Long Valley, NJ. Interment will follow at Maryrest Cemetery, 770 Darlington Ave, Mahwah, NJ.
