Farewell brother of a friend.
We met forty years ago as school mates for two years at St. Paul’s, Denu. The friendship was nurtured and sustained by Tom’s energy, kindness and a keenness to bind. Neither distance nor adversities were a barrier. He remained a true brother. Tom was unafraid of showing love; and his actions spoke loud on this.
Tom was deeply analytical a good communicator, skills he often deployed for family and friends. He was very inspirational and touched several lives, an icon of our time.
On his passing into rest, l want to express my heartfelt condolences to Jasmine, Ian, Jonathan, Camille his brothers and sisters and the rest of the family.

Tom, although we met only once, your friend Emmanuel talked about you often. "You" were always the "life" of the party. Its unfortunate I never got to see you at any of these parties. Oh, death you have really robbed us. Our consolation however is that you are with your maker, where there is no more illness, no more suffering and no more pain. Tom, we love you, but God loves you more ! Till we all meet again, continue to rest.

Uncle Tom the news of your passing was a shock to the system. The man I knew as little girl was strong. You were my "really tall uncle" ,this is how i describe you to my friends. Although you tall and strong you were so friendly, gentle. I appreciate you so much. You came to me a jas' s comfort when we felt the world caving in. You showed us that no matter what your were there. You gave us strength when we had none. That day, you held us together when we wanted to let go. Your word will forever ring strong in my ear, and my heart will always rememeber the love you showed us. Thank you. I love you and am really sad you are no longer physically here. But I know you're at peace now, with no pain just peace.

Tom and I were lifelong friends. Our parents were close and so were we throughout our schooldays. As adults our paths diverged geographically. Nevertheless our loving bond remained and we kept in touch across the continents. Regrettably the last time Tom visited London we weren’t able to meet as I was seriously ill in hospital. We prayed and wept on the phone instead, which brought me welcome strength. And now Tom has gone, taken from us too soon. I will miss his warm affection, his kindness and friendship more than I can say. May he soar to the Ancestors and the Maker in triumph. Goodnight and rest in peace Tom.

I was both shocked and saddened to hear about Brother Tommy’s death. I will always remember his good nature and great sense of humour. He was truly a joy to know and I feel fortunate to have gotten to know him since I was a kid growing up in Anloga. The last time we met was at Pearl’s 50th Birthday and what a wonderful time we had.
Pearl, I know how close you and your brother were. He was such a wonderful person and I know he was a good brother too. I'm sure that he would want you to celebrate the good life that he had. We can all be thankful that we had him in our lives and continue to remember him as the great guy that he was. Please know that your grief is felt by all of us who knew your wonderful brother Tommy.
Sister Jasmine and family, my deepest sympathy. The good Lord is your strength. May God be with you all.

Tee Tom as we affectionately called him joined us at St Paul's Secondary School for his Sixth Form education.
I was then in form four and within some few days of his arrival in the school, became the most recognized person. This was largely due to his admirable sense of humor (Tooli master) and he started adding the prefix "Booh" to everyone's nickname "aka". So we had Booh Thawah, Booh Quazey, and himself became Booh TeeTom and Mickey Booh.
May be by design or by accident or by faith he will be laid to rest on the same date (11th November, 2017) and probably around the same time with two of his close associates when we were back in St Paul's, Booh Thawah (Senanu Tetteh) and Booh Zoman (Damien Humado)
Fare thee Well Mickey Booh, Booh Tee Tom

My dearest Uncle Tom rest in perfect peace. You have lived a fulfilling life, it may not have perfect but it has truly been fulfilling. One thing I will hold dear to my heart is when you where there for Anita and I. At our lowest you stepped in and gave us hope by lifting our spirits and encouraging us to keep going. Every time you came to London it was like God sent you at the right to time to encourage us and pray with us. You left gems that up to now Anita and I hold close to our heart. We will miss you dearly. Now that you are in the Father's arms, rest peacefully. No more worries, no more sorrow and no more pain. I'll always love you. Your niece Jasmine.
