Obituary of Ronald Rossi
Ronald R. Rossi, 78, of Long Valley, NJ passed away on December 4, 2017 in Morris Township, NJ. Ronald was born on June 22, 1939 in Orange, NJ to the late Edward G. Rossi and the late Olga (Gasparine) Rossi. He lived in Livingston and Parsippany, NJ before moving to Long Valley, NJ 15 years ago. Ronald owned the Livingston Paint & Wallpaper Store with his two brothers, and was a very giving man. He was on the Board of Trustees at the Calvary Evangelical Free Church in Essex Fells, NJ, volunteered at Self-Help Group Clearinghouse, and worked with a congresswoman for inclusion and equal rights for the disabled. His passion in life was his family.
Ronald is survived by his wife of 57 years, Diane (Cottone) Rossi; three children: Renay Billing and husband Greg, Peter Rossi and wife Christine, and Ronald Rossi and wife Amy; seven grandchildren: Paige, Nicholas, Taylor, Kyle, Cayla, Drew and Peter; and one great-granddaughter, Kate. He is also survived by his three siblings: Edward, Olga, and Victor.
Friends are respectfully invited to join Ronald’s family in honoring his life. Visitation will be held on Thursday, December 7, 2017 from 10am – 12pm at the William J. Leber Funeral Home (908) 879-3090, 15 Furnace Rd. (corner of rt. 206) Chester, NJ 07930. A Funeral Service will begin at 12pm immediately following the visitation. Interment will follow at Pleasant Hill Cemetery in Chester.
