Obituary of John Crosby
John "Jack" Crosby, 62, of Belleville, NJ passed away on January 31, 2018 at Clara Maass Medical Center in Belleville. Jack was born on June 23, 1955 to the late John Crosby and Eve (Bsarany). He graduated from Clifton HS and has lived in Belleville for many years. Jack was the owner/operator of JM Crosby Trucking out of Belleville, NJ and was a big supporter of the local PBA and Veteran organizations. He was a doting father and grandfather, who enjoyed his cigar collection and spending time with friends.
Jack is survived by his daughter, Jamie Crosby; son, Ryan Vernay; four grandchildren; mother, Eve Rattigan; two brothers, Timothy Crosby and wife Kimberly, Paul Crosby and wife Rebecca; one niece; five nephews; former spouse, Evelyn Vernay; and by many other loving family members and friends. He was predeceased by his brother David Crosby.
Jack's Life Celebration will include a visitation on Friday February 2, 2018 from 4pm-8pm at the William J. Leber Funeral Home (908) 879-3090 15 Furnace Road, Chester, NJ 07930. A Funeral Service will be held at 9:30am on Saturday February 3, 2018 at the Funeral Home. Friends and Family are respectfully invited to the Funeral Home at 9am the morning of the service. Interment will be held at Stanhope Union Cemetery in Mount Olive Twp. immediately following the service.
