Obituary of Mary Justl
Mary June Justl, 60, of Chester, NJ passed away on Saturday, January 21, 2017 peacefully at home. Mary was born on April 17, 1956 in Streator, IL. Mary grew up in Wenona, IL and graduated from Wenona High School in 1974. She received her associate's degree from Illinois Valley Community College, her bachelor's degree from Illinois Benedictine College, and her master's degree from Illinois Institute of Technology. She has lived in Chester for the past 20 years and had previously lived in California. Mary was a Senior Director at Nokia Corporation.
Mary enjoyed traveling, especially to Hawaii. She also loved gardening, jigsaw puzzles and music. Mary was a Girl Scout Leader, a member of the Board of Directors of the Trinity Lutheran Church and a Sunday School teacher.
Mary is survived by her husband of 26 years, Paul Justl, her children Kimberly Justl and Andrew Justl, her brothers, Bob Burroughs, Bill Burroughs, Jerry Burroughs, Mike Burroughs, and sisters, Karen Wenzlaff and Marcia Burroughs. She was predeceased by her parents, Raphael and Wilma Burroughs, sisters, Judy Mustered and Darlene Maschek, and her brother, Jerry Rodewald.
A Celebration of Mary's Life will include a visitation on Tuesday, January 24, 2017 from 4 pm to 8 pm at the William J. Leber Funeral Home, 15 Furnace Road (corner of Rt. 206), Chester, NJ 07930. A 4 pm funeral service will be held on Wednesday, January 25 at Trinity Lutheran Church, 131 Mountain Way, Morris Plains, NJ 07950. Final interment will be held privately by the family.
