Obituary of Dennis Pillion
Dennis J. Pillion, 77, of Flanders, NJ passed away on Saturday, February 4, 2017. Dennis was born on January 3, 1940 in Morristown, NJ and grew up in Cedar Knolls. He has lived in Flanders for 45 years and was previously from Montclair. Dennis was extremely hard working and took pride in his tool and die making. He was the owner of Precision Tool Specialties in Rockaway.
Dennis was an avid Cowboy and Yankee fan. He was a car enthusiast and enjoyed bowling, playing bocce and traveling. Most of all, he loved spending time with his family, and they always came first.
Dennis is survived by his wife of 53 years, Maryann Pillion, children, Karen Schramm and husband John, Jeanmarie Casey, and Melissa Carlo and husband Frank, grandchildren, Connor, Courtney, Dani and Hailey, and cousin, Peggy Dugan and husband Richard.
A Celebration of Dennis' Life will include a memorial gathering on Friday, February 10, 2017 from 4pm to 7pm at the William J. Leber Funeral Home, 15 Furnace Road (Corner of Rt. 206), Chester, NJ (908) 879-3090. A 10:30am memorial mass will be held on Saturday, February 11th at St. Jude Parish in Budd Lake, NJ. Interment will be held private by the family.
