Randolph George Leloup, 77, of Blakeslee, PA (formerly of Chester, NJ) passed away on Saturday, November 23, 2019 peacefully at home surrounded by family. Randy was born on February 1, 1942 in Manhattan, NY to the late H. George and Viloet Leloup. He was a lifelong resident of Chester, NJ prior to moving to Pennsylvania 16 years ago. He was a proud veteran of the US Army and served during the Vietnam War. Randy worked for Warner Lambert in wastewater treatment.
Randy loved hunting and watching outdoor shows on TV. He enjoyed traveling, especially cruises, trips to Alaska, and traveled with his wife across the country in their motorhome, including trips to Acadia National Park, Maine and Key West, Fl. He was also active in the community as a member of the Ironia Volunteer Fire Company #4. He will be remembered most for his sense of humor and laughter. He was loved by all who met him.
He is survived by his wife of 22 years, Susan Leloup (nee Norton); daughter, Dawn Murphy and husband Daryl; stepsons, Dan Taquinto and wife Dorianne, and William Taquinto and wife Holly; 4 grandchildren, Kaelin Murphy, Jack Murphy, John Taquinto and Daniel Taquinto; sister in laws, Ann Akehurst, and Barbara Davis (Linnwood); and many nieces, nephew, grandnieces and grandnephews. He was predeceased by his first wife, Nancy (Strong) Leloup in 1995; and by his son, Randolph George, Jr. in 1981.
A Celebration of Randy's Life will include a memorial visitation on Saturday, November 30, 2019 from 1:30pm to 4:30pm followed by a 4:30pm funeral service at the William J. Leber Funeral Home, 15 Furnace Road (Corner of Rt. 206), Chester, NJ (908) 879-3090. Following the service, a repast will be held at Hoffman Hall inside the Chester Fire House, 86 Main St., Chester, NJ 07930.
