Clifford W. Storms, Jr.

Clifford Warren Storms, Jr., beloved husband, father and grandfather, passed away peacefully at his home in Dingmans Ferry, PA, on Monday, February 1, 2021. Born in Rockville Centre, NY, Cliff grew up in Winfield Park, NJ. He graduated from Roselle Park High School in 1956 and honorably served in the National Guard Reserve.

Cliff began his career at Esso Research in Linden, NJ, before co-founding D&C Electrical Contractors with his brother in 1971. Cliff was a successful electrical contractor for many years before becoming a New Jersey State Electrical Code Official, retiring at the age of 82 after more than 20 years of dedicated service.

An avid outdoorsman, Cliff enjoyed many hunting and fishing trips with his buddies and sons. He also enjoyed target shooting with his daughter and fishing on his lake property.

Cliff’s personality always filled the room, and he lived his life fully. Time spent with family and friends meant everything to him.

Cliff is survived by his beloved wife, Lorraine, beloved children Cliff Storms III (Christie), Kevin Storms (Sheryl), and Heather Storms, their mother Karen (nee Lombardi) Stefanowicz, and six grandchildren Eric, Timothy, Matthew, Jacqueline, Breelyn and Brendan. He is also survived by siblings Donald (Madelyn) Storms and Sharon (Frank) Carfaro, stepsons Jeremy (Holly) Chrobak and Jason (Sonya) Chrobak, and five step-grandchildren Isabelle, Jordan, Kayla, Christina, and Alana as well as many nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be private, but the family plans to celebrate Cliff’s life at a later date to give him the tribute he deserves. He will forever be greatly missed.
