Pasquale John Sapio

Pasquale John Sapio, 58, of Flanders, NJ passed away on February 17, 2021 at Morristown Medical Center. Pasquale was born on March 4, 1962 in Morristown, NJ to the late Alfonso Sapio and Joyce (Sheppard) Sapio. He grew up and resided in Madison, NJ before moving to Flanders 20 years ago.

Pasquale was a devout catholic and volunteered much of his time to his church, St. Elizabeth Ann Seton in Flanders, where he was also a member of the building and grounds committee. He worked for Verizon for 25 years, most recently as a General Manager. With a larger life personality and a heart of gold, Pasquale loved to give to anyone in need. He had a knack of making every person he met feel like they were the most important.  He lived life to the fullest and made every day the best it could be, not only for himself, but for those around him. He was a dedicated family man and the most loyal husband, father, son, brother, uncle, and friend. Pasquale enjoyed hunting, fishing, traveling to the shore, smoking fine cigars, and going to casinos. His smile and ability to make others laugh will truly be missed by his family, friends, co-workers, and the entire community.

He is survived by his beloved wife of 19 years, Cheryl (Montagna) Sapio; cherished daughter, Karley Sapio; loving mother, Joyce Sapio; sister, Laurie Montagna and her husband Ralph; niece, Rachel Montagna; brother-in-law, Frank Montagna; mother-in-law, Loretta Montagna; his adored dog, Izzy; and by many other loving family members and friends. He was predeceased by his father Alfonso Sapio.
