Obituary of Christopher Goll
Christopher Michael Goll, 51, of Budd Lake, NJ passed away on Tuesday November 14, 2017 in Hackettstown, NJ. Christopher was born on February 15, 1966 at Vandenberg Air Force Base in California to the late Donald Goll and Florence (nee Niebojewski) Goll. He lived in Nebraska, Wisconsin, and Rockaway, NJ before moving to Budd Lake 18 years ago.
He worked as a project manager for the Department of Defense at Picatinny Arsenal in Wharton, NJ for many years. Christopher was a perfectionist when it came to his lawn, even making his own fertilizer to ensure that it looked immaculate. He enjoyed cooking, grilling, and smoking assorted meats. He loved to travel for work and with his family, especially trips to the beach in Virginia and Delaware where he would fish with his sons.
Christopher is survived by his beloved wife of 23 years Nancy (nee Shortman) Goll; three devoted sons, Austin Goll, Andrew Goll, and Aidan Goll; four loving siblings, Marilyn Ringer and husband Jim, Cathy Eckles and husband Douglas, Donald Goll, Jr., and James Goll and wife Debbie. He was also survived by many other loving family members and friends.
A Celebration of Christopher's Life will include a visitation on Saturday, November 18, 2017 from 2pm - 5pm followed by a 5pm funeral service at the William J. Leber Funeral Home, 15 Furnace Road (Corner of Rt. 206), Chester, NJ (908) 879-3090. Christopher's final interment will be held privately by the family.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital 501 St Jude Place Memphis, TN 38105.
