Obituary of Robert Hutter
Robert W. Hutter, 89, passed away on Monday November 20, 2017 at Holly Manor Nursing Home in Mendham, NJ. Robert was born on September 26, 1928 to the late Louis Hutter and Theresa (Tauss) Hutter. He lived in Bayside, NY most of his life before retiring down to New Port Richey, FL. He proudly served in the U.S. Army during the reconstruction period in Germany post WWII. Robert enjoyed boating, golfing, and aviation. He was a man of strong faith whose greatest passion in life was his family.
Robert is survived by his beloved wife of 66 years, Eleanor "Ellie" (Leonardi) Hutter; four children, Patricia Morgan and husband Guy Fischer, Carolyn Byszewski and husband Steven, Robert Hutter and wife Theresa, Stephen Hutter and wife Laura; seven grandchildren; 4 great-grandchildren; sister-in-law, Mary Kulaga; and by many other loving family members and friends. He was predeceased by his son Michael Hutter in 2014.
A Celebration of Robert's Life will include a visitation on Wednesday November 22, 2017 from 9AM – 11AM at the William J. Leber Funeral Home (908) 879-3090 15 Furnace Road, Chester, NJ 07930. A Funeral Mass will be held at 11:30am at St. Lawrence RC Church in Chester following the visitation. Interment will take place at 10:30am at Calvary Cemetery in Woodside, NY on Friday November 24, 2017.
