Obituary of Jeanette Ormiston
Jeanette Hedman Ormiston, 87, of Chester, NJ passed away on Saturday April 21, 2018 at home surrounded by her loving family. Jeanette was born on August 12, 1930 in Brooklyn, NY to the late Ray Hedman and the late Velma Morrison Hedman. She lived in Wyckoff, NJ before moving to Chester 45 years ago. She worked as a professor at County College of Morris where she taught Mathematics and Computer Science. Jeanette was a proud member of The Daughters of the American Revolution, Community Presbyterian Church, and Chester Garden Club. She enjoyed spending time with her family, playing bridge, and going to the theatre.
Jeanette is survived by her two daughters, Nancy Ormiston Case and husband Barton, and Sarah Ormiston Orr and husband David; six grandchildren, Heather, Robert, Elizabeth, Emily, William, and Audrey; great-grandson, Matthew; son-in-law, Jim Kenworthy; and by many other loving family members and friends. She was predeceased by her husband, Robert Ormiston; and by her daughter, Virginia Anne Ormiston.
Jeanette’s Memorial Service and Interment will be held in the future.
