Obituary of Bernard W. Peach

Bernard W. Peach, 91, of Schooley's Mountain, NJ passed away on August 6, 2018 at home surrounded by his family. Bernard was born on August 19, 1926 in Maplewood, NJ to the late Granville and Clara Peach. He lived in Morris Plains, NJ before moving to Schooley's Mountain in 1969. Bernard was a "Jack of all trades", hard-working, dependable, loyal, and above all else a family man. Truly a self-made man; he started several family businesses that are still around today. Bernard enjoyed traveling, showing horses and antique cars, and was a long time parishioner and usher at Our Lady of the Mountain RC Church in Long Valley.

He is survived by his three sons, John Granville Peach, Brian M. Peach, and Kevin B. Peach and wife Gail; seven grandchildren; one great-granddaughter; his sister, Edith Austin; and by many other loving family members and friends. He was predeceased by his beloved wife Rosaline Peach; cherished daughter, Karleen Mary Peach; two brothers, Jerome and Granville; and by his two daughter-in-laws, JoAnn and Kathleen Peach.

Bernard's Life Celebration will include a visitation on Monday August 13, 2018 from 4PM-8PM at the William J. Leber Funeral Home, 15 Furnace Rd. (corner of rt. 206) Chester, NJ 07930 (908) 879-3090. A Funeral mass will be held on Tuesday August 14, 2018 at 11AM at Our Lady of the Mountain RC Church in Schooley's Mountain, NJ. Interment will follow at Our Lady of the Mountain Cemetery.
