Obituary of Louis Isidori

Louis F. Isidori, 83, of Budd Lake, NJ, passed away on September 6, 2018 at Hospice for Hope in Scotch Plains, NJ. Louis was born on March 18, 1935 in Jersey City, NJ. He lived in Irvington for over 35 years before moving to Budd Lake in 2000.     

 

Louis started his career at Moldcast Lighting and worked there for 17 years before becoming an assistant plant manager for Mark Lighting in Edison, NJ.  He was a parishioner of St. Jude Church in Budd Lake. Louis was a member of the Knights of Columbus Council 6100 and 1562 and was a Fourth Degree Knight. He also was a long time member of the Lions Club.  Louis was an avid Yankees and Giants fan.  He loved animals, watching movies and playing chess and collecting chess sets.  He also loved painting, fixing things around the house and refinishing furniture.

 

Louis is survived by his beloved two daughters, Joanne Isidori Linden and her husband Donald and Susan Isidori Landsman and her husband Bruce, his loving grandchildren, Sabrina and Bailey Landsman, his dear sisters, Virginia Finello, Geraldine Isidori, and Jeannette O’Rourke and her husband William, his brother-in-law, James Petronick, and his companion Gloria Kelchner. He was predeceased by his wife Sandra of 34 years and his sister, Patricia Petronick.

 

A Celebration of Louis’s Life will include a visitation on Tuesday, September 11, 2018 from 4pm to 8pm at the William J. Leber Funeral Home, 15 Furnace Road (Corner of Rt. 206), Chester, NJ, (908) 879-3090. A 10:30am funeral mass will be held on Wednesday, September 12 at St. Jude Church in Budd Lake. Interment will follow at Hollywood Memorial Park in Union, NJ.
