Obituary of Stuart Kirby

Keith Stuart Kirby, 67, of Long Valley, NJ passed away on Monday July 1, 2019 at St. Barnabas Medical Center after a courageous battle with cancer. Stuart was born on March 26, 1952 in Moascar, Egypt to the late Ronald Alfred Kirby and the late Jean Westgarth (Morgan) Kirby. The family then returned to the UK where Stuart grew up and was educated. He moved to the United States in 1981 and lived in Montclair, NJ and Sparta, NJ before moving to Long Valley one year ago. He was a successful, self-employed stockbroker. He was a serious collector of Early English Oak 17th century antiques, he enjoyed fishing with his family and made friends throughout the world. Stuart was a member of the Middle Valley Historical Club, Classic Car Club, and several different animal advocacy groups. He had a deep bond and love for all animals, especially his dogs, Gracie, Saxon, and his late dog, Rundel.

Stuart is survived by his beloved wife, Irene (Fertakos) Kirby; two devoted children, Harrison Kirby, and Alexandra Kirby, brother, Nick Kirby, 6 step-children; Marcel Martori, Nikko Martori, Micah Martori, Doug Moglin, Michael Moglin and Jennifer Rogoff and by many other loving family members and friends.
