Obituary of Victor Gialanella

Victor Gialanella, 72, a resident of Long Valley, NJ for over 45 years, passed away on April 13, 2020 at Morristown Medical Center. He was born on December 6, 1947 at St. Michael’s Hospital in Newark, NJ to his mother Josephine and his late father Victor Gialanella. Victor graduated from Seton Hall Preparatory High School and would later graduate from Stevens Institute of Technology in Hoboken, NJ where he served as Fraternity President for Delta Tau Delta. He also served as a Sergeant in the United States Marine Corps honorably discharged in 1977. Victor had 40+ years’ experience in various project management and technology site operational roles at Exxon Corporation and Infineum USA in Linden, NJ. He was a parishioner of St. Luke RC Church. His hobbies included listening to music, playing cards, riding ATV’s, word games, and going to the beach. Victor was a die-hard New York Yankees and New York Giants fan. His passion in life was his family, especially his children and grandchildren. Victor was predeceased by his first wife, Sandra Lee Gialanella in 1987. Victor is survived by his beloved wife of 25 years, Renee Lisette (Condit) Gialanella; six loving children, Victor and his wife Sarah, Tara, Joseph and his wife Amy, Patrick, Luke, and Elizabeth; eight cherished grandchildren, Samantha, Nathaniel, Ji Jie, Gavin, Kalee, Robert, Maya, Brianna; and by many other loving family members and friends. A virtual service will be officiated by Deacon Paul Gialanella and his wife Donna, beloved brother and sister of Victor, on Friday April 17, 2020 beginning at 3PM and will include a prayer service, family reflections, family slideshow, and will conclude with military honors being presented by the United States Marine Corps. Funeral Service

A virtual service via ZOOM will be held at the funeral home on Friday April 17, 2020 beginning at 3PM and will include a prayer service, family reflections, family slideshow, and will conclude with military honors being presented by the United States Marine Corps. A Life Celebration will take place in the future.
